Successful Healthy Weight Loss 4

It is unhealthy to lose weight too fast. One must realize, understand and remember that the weight was not put on fast and it will take even longer to remove the unwanted pounds and keep them off. Losing weight too fast could result in putting the weight back on with some pounds added that were not there at the onset of the weight loss regimen. The cycle of weight loss and weight gain must be controlled.
Did you resolve again this year to remove those pounds? The answer to your roller coaster ride can be found at www.marymshields.usana.com.

Successful Healthy Weight Loss 2

Sometimes we use food as a crutch. We use food as a means of feeling better after a rough day at work or a rough day with the kids. It's this kind of thinking that allows food to take over our mind, body and soul. When this happens, the weight gain is inevitable. Once we take notice of what is happening, we decide we must do something to get rid of the pounds. Thus, weight loss becomes a driving force to our existence.
Essential and vital nutrients must be part of any weight loss program to have a healthy and successful experience. To find out what I have found to meet this need, go to www.marymshields.usana.com.

Be safe and healthy.

RESET in 2007

RESET in 2007 for Life
I have struggled with weight gain for the past eighteen years. I tried all sorts of diet programs only to find that I would lose a few pounds but find those pounds again plus some more. I was on an up and down seesaw with my weight problem.
In 1995, I underwent major surgery to correct a medical problem that was causing me paralyzing migraine headaches. This condition was called Temporo Mandibular Joint (TMJ). I went to several doctors and specialists to find the cause of the headaches and my condition seemed to confuse the doctors. It wasn't until September 1995 that the doctors collaborated and decided that my problem was TMJ. It was explained to me that I had more jaw on one side of my face than I did on the other. This misalignment of jaw was causing a terrible occlusion that in turn was causing the paralyzing headaches.
In December 1995, I went through a surgery called an Osteotomy. Rather than go into the specifics of the surgery, I will tell you that I lost a lot of weight. I lost so much weight that I really looked unhealthy. I went from wearing a size 20 clothes to a size 12. Now that was some weight loss. I lost this weight because I was laced up (my teeth were wired shut) for thirty days. Once I was unwired, it took another three months for me to gradually get back into eating solid foods normally. This was sort of like a person who has broken their leg and have to go through therapy to learn how to walk again.
Once I was able to eat normally again, the weight I had lost was catching up to me quick. Once I saw the weight coming back on, I started using all sorts of diet programs. I would lose a few pounds over a short period of time but the pounds came back in a shorter period of time. This up and down weight gain went on for four years until I decided to give up trying to lose weight. The only problem with this was I didn't stop gaining weight.
On January 5, 2007 (eight years later), I visited my doctor only to discover that I had gained so much weight that I now weighed a whopping 246 pounds. I was so hurt and frustrated with myself. It was then that I decided to step up to the plate and try something I had never tried before - RESET.
I started the 5-day RESET regimen on January 8, 2007 and on January 12, 2007, I toppled the scales at 231 pounds. I was elated. I was beside myself. I was on top of the world. I had finally found what I needed to get rid of the weight. It has been four weeks since I went on my 5-day RESET regimen and I have lost a total of 19 pounds and I am working toward my goal of losing 80 pounds this year. Without RESET, I never would have started another diet regimen and without the RESET, I probably would have gained 19 pounds rather than lose 19.
